Last year I set out on a mission to lose weight.  I had allowed myself to get to an astonishing 306 lbs and needed to find a way to drop a bunch of that weight.  So I started using MyFitnessPal This site is an awesome free tool to monitor your input and output of food and exercise.   I started walking, then jogging, then running, also hitting the gym a few times a week.  And I found the secret.

All any of us need to do is control our selves.  Every 3,500 calories you intake you gain 1 pound of weight unless those calories are burned.  Here is the hard part, you have to burn them off.  Have you ever noticed that the FDA recommends a 2,000 calorie diet?  Because your body typically used about 1800-2500 a day at rest,  so If you were able to eat less than 2000 calories a day, your body would have a deficit and it would consume the fat stores until your fat stores were gone.

Don't believe me?  Try it!!  Get out there and work that fat body and appreciate your weight loss.
