Receiving gifts on Valentine's day shouldn't be that big of a deal. As men, we send flowers, candies, and some guys (not me) send cards. I found a great big bear that was made of a blanket material and it even came in a blanket storage bag that was shaped like a bear. This and a dozen mixed colored roses was my gift to Jennifer.
But she blew me out of the water, She had already told me that she was going to make me pizza which is probably my favorite thing she makes. So I get home about 2am from the Chicago blizzard Wednesday morning and she of course is sound asleep. I walk in to the spare bedroom and find a brand new Microsoft Zune waiting on me already charged up. I was so very excited. This device does alot of stuff. SO I kissed her on the head and woke her up to tell her how excited I was to get something like that. We talked for about an hour about the trip and then fell asleep.
I woke up about 7 and started playing with the Zune, installing the software, getting all my MP3s ready, and figuring out how to copy a whole DVD to it. SO I have copied well over 3000 songs to it and the Talladega Nights movie over to a hand held device and have only filled up half of the 30 gig drive.
She then proceeded to tell me that there was something in the microwave. She had baked me a cake in the shape of a heart. It was a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting with red heart candies all over.
I truely married one of a kind.
What a great day.
